Okay so both my laptop and tablet are acting weird (not sure which is causing what) so I am drawing the K pictures and the OC’s who entered the shipping contest traditionally…though I will probably still try to outline and color them digitally. Hope y’all don’t mind.
This has slowed me down a little, since I am working on normal story updates now as well as the last of prom. I’m also going to be nuking all these pesky text updates soon to clean things up as well.
I’m still choosing the first place Dustlught ship. Omg. I have no idea what to do. My OTP for her is battling with other ships. Ugh why must you all make this so hard?!
Anyway that’s an update on my stuff at the moment. I apologize for all the text updates lately. Thank you all SO MUCH for bearing with me!! You are all the best for putting up with me and my horribleness!!
First Place Knight ship is ShimmerKnight!
Even though Shimmershine isn’t around anymore, I really just couldn’t pick another ship over Shimmer for Knight. She was here during the early days of the blog, and in a lot of ways was sorta Knight’s first princess.

Okay so first place to Rook’s part goes to Night Wishes. Period. Like, they were too great. Plus I haven’t gotten any submissions for Rook at all. I also plan to make this totally canon in my story if that is okay with NightWishes.

A friend of mine asked if Dark and Dustlight would ever get together, and if Dustlight would ever get over him. I told her when another stallion came along and showed interest in Dustlight, it’d all be okay. When she asked when that would happen, I figured it’d be fun to let YOU all decide! And, what with all the DarkBunny shipping going on, I though it’d be perfect!
Let the 200+ Follower Shipping Contest BEGIN!!
How it works:
You all submit a ship for Dustlight or Knight. The ship that I like the most or that I feel goes the best together gets the prize!
I will also have an event on my blog in which my character goes to the character they are shipped with and (hopefully) has a bit of a romantic time with them. And who knows? Something may come out of it.
What you win:
1st Place - A fully shaded picture with full background and up to 4 ponies/characters along with the satisfaction of the blog event.
2nd Place - A flat colored picture with simple background and up to 3 ponies/characters
3rd Place - A flat colored picture with no background and up to 2 ponies
How to submit:
You can submit couples via art, simple fanfiction, or just via the character names or the shipping names. You can use bases for the art and such, but please state that you did and credit the base maker if you are able. Do not worry about the quality of the art or fic that you submit.
I WILL NOT BE JUDGING THE QUALITY OF THE WORK SO CHILL!! I don’t care if you think the art or pic sucks it will not affect my decision. Period.
Everyone who submits art or a simple fanfiction will get a blog promo as well. But, as I said, you can always just submit names if you like too. Even if you don’t submit art or a fic it will not affect my decision!! This is not only for fun but also to get an opportunity to show what you can do and get a promo.
Rules:
- Please keep it SFW
- Both Knight and Dustlight are straight so please no same-sex pairings. I have nothing against it, their barn doors just dont swing that way.
- The characters shipped with mine can be canon or part of Tumblrpon.
- If the character is in Tumblrpon please give me their URL. I would also prefer it if the blog was fairly active.
- If the character is a canon character without a blog, I will simply play them during the confession event.
- You can submit as many couples as you want for both characters!
- Don’t hate if I don’t pick your couple. It’s not going to be personal.
- Have fun!!

So I was looking over everything, and I don’t have enough entries for the shipping contest in either of my blogs to properly do this contest. I mean, my other blog, ask-ghostly scootaloo has only gotten like two entries, and still need a ship for Dustlight to do a proper 1st 2nd 3rd place thing…
I know that shipping contests aren’t really everyone’s thing, but I need this for the canon of the G-Scoots story, and also a possible collaborative event in this blog with both ships. And, while I have gotten a couple entries for Dust and about 3 for Knight, I’d like to have more…
So I am going to change it up a bit. EVERYONE WHO GIVES ME A SHIP WILL GET THEIR OC DRAWN. And keep in mind all I need is like a name of a ship. So come on guys! I’ll consider any of them!! Also, I’ll be extending this by a day or so, so PLEASE send me ships!!
